$200 million New Jersey Port Upgrade

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy committed to spend $200 million to upgrade a new port in South Jersey to serve offshore wind projects. Governor Murphy states that the significant investment by New Jersey is a clear signal that it is a place where it wants to locate manufacturing operations. The state hopes to attract manufacturers to provide the cables, foundations and other necessary components of an offshore wind farm to the 200-acre site.
