Fisheries Mitigation Plans for New York Procurement of Offshore Wind Energy

In October 2019, NYSERDA finalized contracts to purchase power from the Sunrise Wind and Empire Wind I offshore wind projects, in fulfillment of the New York State Public Service Commission’s July 2018 Order. In January 2022, NYSERDA finalized contracts to purchase power from the Empire Wind II and Beacon Wind I offshore wind projects, in fulfillment of the New York State Public Service Commission’s Order. The latest fisheries mitigation plans from the contracted offshore wind developers and associated materials are provided at the links below. Newer versions of the mitigation plans will be posted as they become available:
