Vineyard Wind has selected SICdrone, Night Vision Technology Solutions, and Open Ocean Robotics for their Marine Mammal Challenge. The startups will focus on innovations in marine mammal monitoring through data collection, real-time transmission, and analysis. The technologies the companies will utilize for real-time marine mammal detection include aerial drone systems, thermal and visible camera systems, and solar powered boats to collect data.
